Fix-It Friday

The folks over at I♥Faces give the challenge each week to take a photo and do some photoshop magic on it. This was my play.

The original image was really not bad to work with, really the only problem was it was underexposed. The composition and focus were great.

I just did a slight curves adjustment to bring up the exposure a bit and a levels adjustment to add contrast. I also ran Pioneer Woman's warmer action at 20% to give it some warmth in the skin tones. I did a tiny but of skin retouching to maker her creamy skin show through in the photo. Then I did a last saturation boost just on the hat and topped it off with totally rads magic glass.

Our good friends came to stay with us while were were enjoying the natural splendor of southern Oregon and while they were here I asked If I could photograph them because it is always fun to take pictures with such gorgeous models!

This is Maddie, she's my river buddy!!

This is Payton, he can beat ANY body at ANY video game ANYTIME!!

This is Cael, he will melt your heart with those blue eyes of his...see!

This is JonO, the song, "Anything you can do I can do better" comes to mind with this AMAZING kid!

There you have it. An amazing couple with great kids who are welcome to visit anytime they want!!

Can't Help But Smile

When I look at these pictures. These kids were so darling and fun and my cheeks hurt form smiling when I got home. The fact that their mom and have friends AND family forever may have had something to do with that. Grandma and Aunt came to help out with the pictures which was really fun. Grandma was my "other mother" when I was a kid and I just don't get to see them enough! As fun as it was to catch up with this crew it was even funner taking these kids pics! They were so full of personality and that makes it the most fun! And baby [D] I want to keep him!! He just melted my heart! I won't make you read anymore so without further adeiu.....

What a fun shoot. It is so much fun to take pictures of other photographers because you have 2 sets of eyes looking out for things rather than just one!! These kids were full of personality and were so fun to shoot!!

You would not believe what it took for this little guy to look at me but when he did he melted my heart!

My 11 year old son has a crush on this little stunner and he has never met her, he just saw me edit this picture!!

I actually have the same shot as this one where he is smiling but with those eyes i just couldn't resist posting this one Mr. Studly DoRight

I had the opportunity to shoot this amazing couple on Saturday. They were absolutely gorgeous which makes my job a piece of cake. On top of being beautiful they were a super fun couple, my cheeks hurt from laughing with them. I don't think I have ever been to a wedding where the bride paid such amazing attention to detail. From the candy buffet to the amazing flowers everywhere, and I mean everywhere. Kyle and Nitosha, I wish you the best of luck, and call me when you start having babies because I know they will be absolutely gorgeous!

Dazzling

The only word I can use to describe these amazing sisters! And what a better way to launch my new photography blog. I had so much fun shooting {S} and her sister's {E} and {A} and their initials spell sea they pointed out, which was quite helpful to remember names I might add!! When I was contacted by the Mom of these lovely girls she friended me on facebook so I could see pictures of the girls and get to know them before I actually met them! After viewing the pictures on Mom's facebook I knew my job would be a piece of cake, and it was. By the end i was invited for cake and hugs were given by all the girls!! SUPER FUN SHOOT!

Sorry guys I know your probably getting sick of these but I promise the photo blog will be up and running SOON!! I just need to get this peek out for the mama of the sweetest boy!! Little [P] was so fun and full of energy. [P] just turned 2 so his mom contacted me to do some birthday pictures! He kept running away from me until I broke out my bag o tricks, full with marshmallows, raisins, bubbles and a Lightning McQueen. After that he kept going back to my bag to see what else I brought!! I had great fun and can't wait until next time!!

Until I get my photography blog up and running you guys will have to put up with my sneak peaks here on this blog!! I got to photograph the cutest sisters Saturday. Lesli and I went downtown and found some really cool locations, my favorite was this grafitti wall on 1st St. Super fun shoot!
